“Legend" collaborative work between me and Japanese artist Sae Murai. Sae painstakingly french-knitted the contour pattern of the area; a process that took several days.
Legend has travelled to various exhibitions including Black Swan Open 2015, Transformed Land at the Brewhouse in Taunton and the Porthleven Prize exhibitions in Oxford and Bath. The work depicts a map of Porthleven made from pins and thread, and my text observations of the town as we walked from Porthleven to Loe Bar.
Framed in an acrylic case that can be hung, but was originally displayed on a plinth.
